This wonderful group of students spent a day at Eden Farms helping out our therapeutic riding program, Happy Hooves. We really appreciate them taking time to help. They also met one of our therapy horses, Tonka, who just had to be in the picture too!

In 2009, BB&T created an initiative to address the critical needs of local communities. This initiative was named the Lighthouse Project, which operates within each local BB&T branch.
After learning about Happy Hooves through the Helen’s Hugs annual “Will Run For Hugs” 5k Run/Walk, the BB&T branch in Clemson voted and chose to support the Therapeutic Equestrian Center at Eden Farms as their service project this year. The Lighthouse team purchased all products necessary to clean and stain three handicap mounting ramps. The ramps have been used 6 days a week for the past 17 years, and were in desperate need of some TLC! The ramps allow individuals in wheel chairs and walkers to safely and confidently mount their therapy horses. A very special thank you goes out to Deanna Bolding, VP & Market Leader, BB&T Clemson and the entire Lighthouse Project team…we really appreciate your time, effort and generosity!
